Located merely 15 kilometers from Panjim, the capital city of Goa, Baga beach has much to offer to its visitors, all round the year. Known for its stunning beauty, Baga beach is a small beach with palm trees stretching down the shore and almost reaching the water in some places and huge black rocks on the extreme right of the beach, with the water of the Arabian Sea crashing into the rocks. Baga beach is located 10 kilometers west of Mapusa. It is a favorite with international tourists, especially from Great Britain, who flock the Baga beach for the excellent facilities of water sports available in the region.
