Cavelossim Beach
	Cavelossim beach is one of those quieter beaches in southwest part of Salcete along the coastline of the South Goa. Located about 11 kilometers from south of Colva beach in South Goa, Cavelossim beach is known for offering not only picturesque beauty to its visitors, but there are many luxurious resorts lining the shore. In fact, there are a whole range of beaches down south of the Colva beach, including the Varca beach and Mobor. Lying 12 kilometers south of Benaulim beach, Cavelossim beach lies between the Arabian Sea and the Sal river, thus providing an unique view of the sand, the sea and the paddy fields, sprawling across the beach.

Cavelossim beach offers some of the best spots of dolphin viewing. Boats are hired especially to take visitors for an up, close and personal account with the dolphins within the Sea. While the sunsets are spectacular on the beach, the soft sand reflecting the golden sun and the aquamarine colored water offers one of the best view to its visitors. There are many five star resorts which have come up over the last few years on the shoreline of Cavelossim beach. While they have changed the beach into almost a private affair for the visitors and offer them some of the most modern facilities, these resorts are rather expensive. Some of these resorts on the Cavelossim beach and the Varca beach include Holiday Inn Resort, Leela Palace, Resort Dona Sylvia, Royal Resorts Haathi Mahal and The Old Anchor Resort. There are also available some budget hotels and guesthouses, however these are located off the shoreline, in Cavelossim village. There are ample number of shacks lining the beach which offer cheap yet tasty local food to its visitors. One of the popular places for eating out in Cavelossim beach is Dona Sylvia.

Shopping is an unique experience in Cavelossim beach, as in other beaches of Goa. The beach is well connected to other places of Goa. There are regular buses from Colva and Margao, located 18 kilometers away, to Cavelossim beach, while there are other transport facilities from Margao as well.
