Dr. Subodh Kerker is an accomplished painter and designer himself. Initially a medical doctor, later on he changed gears by shifting to the profession of painting. He has been working for over 15 years and and has successfully carved a niche for himself in the world of contemporary art. Many of his works have been exhibited and appreciated all over the world. Besides painting he has also designed for the restaurants , homes and published books of art as well.
Since an ardent believer of art Dr. Subodh Kerker understood the struggles and the trials of an artist during the initial period of artistic endeavor, so he established this art complex for promoting good and meaningful art thus celebrating art from broader perspective. Workshops are organized on regular basis for the painters and sculptors in order to create a healthy relation between the eastern and the western cultures. Visitors can also avail the open air auditorium which organizes concerts of Indian Classical music and dance every Tuesday and Saturday from 6:45 pm. to 8:30 pm.
